A room full of people who are actually awake
Tango Live is the part of Tango where hosts broadcast and you watch. Every room is a live stream happening this minute: a host talking, laughing at the comments, playing music, or just keeping people company late at night. Nothing is a replay. If the host waves, she is waving at the people in the room, and that includes you.
You find the rooms in the Live tab. Tap any card and the stream opens full screen. Swipe up for the next host, down to go back. It is the quickest way to get a feel for Tango before you ever turn on your own camera, and plenty of people spend a whole evening just hopping between tango streams they like.

Watch quietly, or make yourself known
Nobody expects anything from a viewer. You can sit back and watch as long as you like. When you want to join in, a room gives you a few simple tools, all on the same screen as the stream.

The Start Video Chat button opens a private Tango video call with that host, away from the crowd.
Some rooms are special: a gift-ticket room, a followers-only room or a room for paid accounts. The entry screen tells you what is needed before you spend anything.
03when to tune in
When Tango Live is at its liveliest
Hosts stream from many countries, so there is always something on. The busiest stretch is the American and European evening, when the most rooms are open and the chat moves fastest. Late nights are calmer and often friendlier, a good time for a tango livestream with a small audience where the host actually has time to talk to you.

When watching is not enough
The nicest thing about Tango Live is that a stream does not have to stay a stream. If you click with a host, the Start Video Chat button in her room turns the evening into a one-on-one call, just the two of you. Host calls are paid in coins, with the cost displayed up front.
Prefer someone new instead? Leave the room and tap Start match. You get paired with a fellow member who is waiting at that instant, for a 1v1 video chat that is free to start. Many people do both in one sitting: warm up in a live room, then try a random call.

Tango Live on phone, tablet and desktop
There is nothing to install. Tango Live runs in Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox, so the same rooms open on an iPhone, an Android phone or a laptop. On a desktop the bigger screen makes the stream and the chat easier to follow side by side; on a phone, swiping between rooms feels natural.
If you want Tango Live one tap away, add the site to your home screen. The Tango app page shows how on each device. Because it is the web version, you always get the newest version without updating anything.

Watching safely
Viewers can stay anonymous: your display name is all a host sees unless you choose to share more. Leave personal details out of room chats, and refuse any request for cash or vouchers that bypasses the built-in gift buttons.
