Tango Community Guidelines

the fine print, in plain words

Community Guidelines

Tango works when people feel relaxed enough to show their face. These guidelines apply everywhere on tangome.live: live rooms, comments, one-on-one calls, voice, text and messages.

Updated October 2, 2026

01 Welcome here

  • Saying hi like you mean it, and leaving politely when a chat is not working.
  • Kind comments in live rooms and appreciation for hosts you enjoy.
  • Curiosity about other countries, languages and lives.
  • Using voice or text when you would rather keep your camera off.

02 Not allowed

  • Nudity, sexual content or sexual requests, on camera or in writing.
  • Name-calling, intimidation, bullying, hateful remarks, or ridiculing people for their identity.
  • Anyone under 18, and any content that sexualises minors. These accounts are removed and may be reported to authorities.
  • Asking for money, gift cards, payment details, passwords or verification codes.
  • Ads, spam, links to other services, or trying to move people to other apps to sell something.
  • Recording, screenshotting or sharing someone else's video without permission.
  • Pretending to be someone else, including staff or a specific host.

03 In live rooms

Hosts set the tone of their room. Keep comments friendly, do not flood the chat, and respect a host who asks you to stop. Gifts are a thank-you, never a way to demand anything. Hosts can limit who chats in their room, and moderators can remove viewers who cross the line.

04 What happens after a report

Every report reaches a human reviewer. Depending on how serious it was, the result can be a warning, restricted features, a pause on the account or removal for good. Serious cases, especially anything involving minors or threats, lead to an immediate ban. A block also removes that person from your future matches.

05 Appeals

If you think we made a mistake, email [email protected] from the account in question with a short explanation. We review appeals and reply as soon as we can.
